All educational institutions in Punjab to reopen the following day after the Pakistan-India ceasefire
LAHORE: Following a temporary closure of faculties due to the recent Pakistan-India escalation, all academic establishments across Punjab are set to reopen tomorrow (Monday), as per a legit notification issued by the provincial education department.

The notification stated that instructional activities in all colleges throughout the province will resume as per the daily schedule.
In the future, due to the contemporary protection situation, the Punjab government shut down instructional institutions for 2 days, Friday and Saturday. The brand new escalation in the decades-old Pakistan-India rivalry started on May 7, while at least 31 civilians, together with youngsters, had been killed in an unprovoked Indian cross-border assault. In retaliation, Pakistan downed 5 IAF fighter jets, including 3 Rafales, and dozens of drones.

India dispatched drones into Pakistani territory at some stage in the escalation, and the army shot down nearly 80 of them, including Israeli-made medium-altitude, long-persistence UAVs referred to as IAI Heron. Earlier on Friday night, India released multiple missile attacks on Pakistani airbases, including the Nur Khan, Murid, and Shorkot airbases, which had been fired from planes, in line with the Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.

In reaction, Pakistan launched “Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos” towards India early on Saturday, focused on a couple of military bases, which include a missile garage site in India.
After days of moves and counterstrikes in opposition to each other’s military installations, Pakistan and India agreed to a “full and immediate ceasefire,” according to President Donald Trump. “After an extended nighttime of talks mediated through the USA,

I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a FULL AND IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE. Congratulations to both Countries on using Common Sense and Great Intelligence,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
