According to the International News Agency, Moore Gilbert, a female educator from the University of Melbourne who was imprisoned for two years in Iran on espionage charges, was released from prison and returned home.
University of Melbourne lecturer Moore Gilbert was arrested at Tehran Airport in 2018 after attending a conference and was tried in a closed room and sentenced to 10 years in prison for espionage.
