On her state-of-the-art Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex corrected her friend Mindy Kaling for calling her “Meghan Markle,” announcing, “You know, I’m Sussex now.” Moreover, she also revealed the change in a latest interview with The Drew Barrymore Show
Now, insiders have discovered the cause of Meghan’s move. A royal source told The Daily Mail, “It’s simply a warning shot.”
The source advised that Meghan emphasizes her connection to the Sussex identity regardless of stepping away from royal obligations.
On the alternative hand, royal professional Jennie Bond also weighed in on the matter. Jennie told Mirror, “I thought it became as a substitute a pointed commentary to make so publicly to a chum – she should have just halted the filming for a moment and privately corrected her visitor.”
