ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is actively searching for an opposition alliance to venture into the contemporary political gadget, but its past horrific mouthing towards Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman remains a prime stumbling block.
According to an knowledgeable JUI-F source, PTI leaders, who have reached out to the birthday party in hopes of forging a political partnership, have conveyed the JUI-F’s reservations, mainly regarding past remarks made by means of PTI leaders towards Maulana.
The supply stated whilst JUI-F does not demand a public apology, it expects PTI to take some concrete steps to address the concerns of its supporters, who continue to be deeply angry by means of PTI’s past verbal assaults against the Maulana.
Despite ongoing discussions, PTI has yet to respond to JUI-F’s issues. Sources said that the JUI-F has not insisted on leading the opposition alliance, but has conveyed its worries to the PTI.
